What’s behind a PDI:
It could be a customer will (wants to) know how the spare parts they ordered look.
In special situations there needs to be a pre-authorization by the customer before we ship. When this is needed, a call is arranged with the customer and we go though each of the spare parts ordered. During this time the customer has the chance to ask any questions about the parts and I, the expert, can answer. When the customer has no more questions, they can confirm that the order is correct and we can deliver the parts.
