Technician, Technology, Technique
These three words are easily confused. Do you know when to use which one? The following explanations and examples should help you.
Technician:
a person who is a specialist in a technical area. (The word technicker does NOT exist in English!!!)
For example:
Could you please send these blood samples to the lab technicians and ask them to run a series of tests on them?
Technology:
new scientific solutions for practical problems
For example:
Advances in communication technology have made it possible to send text messages to your friends, no matter where they currently are.
Technique:
a particular way of doing something
For example:
Oil painting requires different techniques than acrylic painting.
I don’t think that these new management techniques are very effective.
