Content:

In this talk, Dr Roshni Mooneeram will explore the challenges and opportunities around creating and implementing Diversity and Inclusion frameworks in organisations. She will
focus especially on the opportunities that the strategic management of Diversity and Inclusion opens up for HR and for organisations seeking innovative ways of creating and maintaining a competitive edge.

In this active workshop format, you will have the opportunity to share your thoughts and hear the experiences of the other HR professionals in the room.

The workshop will take place live and online. A Microsoft Teams invitation will be sent in advance of the session. 

 

Your Facilitator  

Dr Roshni Mooneeram is Head of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Office at EMBL, the European Molecular Biology Lab, with responsibility for all sites in Germany, France, the UK, Spain and Italy. She is also a global consultant in Diversity and Inclusion and Honorary Associate Professor of the University of Nottingham. She has previously played a leading role in the internationalisation of higher education with the setting up the University of Nottingham in China. She has worked as a consultant in Diversity and Inclusion to global organisations such as Accenture, helping them with their target of gender parity by 2025. She was recently commissioned to write a strategy for the African Union: Building Resilience to Foster African Human Capital through Girls’ and Women’s Education for Sustainable development. Roshni is from East Africa, Mauritius, and has lived and worked in Africa, Europe and Asia.  

English Competence 

The English level of the participants should be between B2 and C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). If you have any concerns about the level of your English, please contact us.
